Assembly of the
Pipe Beveler Tool
- Remove the parts from the
vinyl bag.
- Place the large drive hub
into the center of the beveler tool.
- Secure the drive hub with
the large washer and allen screw.
- Place the blade into the
groove on the inside of the beveler tool.
- Secure the blade with the
smaller washer, the lock washer and the allen
screw.
- Adjust the blade so that
the flat edge of the blade is flush with the rim
of the tool.
- Use this position of the
blade as a starting point to adjust the depth of
the cut on the pipe.
- It is critical, that the
back of the blade rests against the rim of the
tool. If the blade does not rest against the
tool, the blade will break very easily.
- To increase the amount of
pipe bevel move the blade in towards the center
hub.
- To decrease the amount of
pipe bevel move the blade away from the center
hub.
- Remember that it is
always critical that a portion of the flat
surface of the blade is against the rim of the
beveler tool.
