Assembly of the Pipe Beveler Tool

  • Remove the parts from the vinyl bag.
  • Place the large drive hub into the center of the beveler tool.
  • Secure the drive hub with the large washer and allen screw.
  • Place the blade into the groove on the inside of the beveler tool.
  • Secure the blade with the smaller washer, the lock washer and the allen screw.
  • Adjust the blade so that the flat edge of the blade is flush with the rim of the tool.
  • Use this position of the blade as a starting point to adjust the depth of the cut on the pipe.
  • It is critical, that the back of the blade rests against the rim of the tool. If the blade does not rest against the tool, the blade will break very easily.
  • To increase the amount of pipe bevel move the blade in towards the center hub.
  • To decrease the amount of pipe bevel move the blade away from the center hub.
  • Remember that it is always critical that a portion of the flat surface of the blade is against the rim of the beveler tool.
